Often in Internet Marketing forums like the Warrior Forum people talk about Guru’s, or the “Gurus”
These are people who teach Internet Marketing. Some say they are scammers, some say they withhold information, some say they suck up all the good business before anyone can get to it….
The real answer requires a little more thought (which the good people at the Warrior Forum do a lot of). Ultimatly 2 factors come into play, 1) how skilled and dedicated is any one person who wants to learn, and 2) is the guru you want to learn from really there to help people succede or just there to make big promises and take your money?
There are some really good teachers (guru means teacher) out there. A few come to mind, John Reece, Willie Crawford, Tiffany Dow, Yanik Silver, Mike Mertz, Dr, Ron, Jermaine Griggs, Ross Goldberg, Perry Marshall and Jason Moffatt. There are more I am sure, these are some people I have learned from and who try hard to provide usefull instruction.
There are 2 good upcoming good courses, one is Easy Video Sales by Jason Moffatt. He will tie in making videos, which I should’t have to tell you is the best way to sell, with top quality copywriting. This is a one year mastermind course where you will get ongoing in touch training with Jason and other top marketers. This will really help you bust out into any market.
The other one is by Jermaine Griggs who just rolled out his Nitty Gritty Marketing. Jermaine is a smart marketer and a really decent person, I have seen this written about him many times and agree completely. If you want to be in an ongoing class with personal instruction by someone who knows how to market and build a business this is a good choice. It is easy to find out because the first month is only $2.97, less than a latte! Maybe I will see you there.

I don’t know if a true guru could just take people’s money and give them nothing in return. I think a lot of hype is out there and a lot of scams, but I’ve found that you can separate the wheat from the chaff by the talking with some of the students of people. Success leaves clues. The question is can you read the clues correctly. This was a very good post about the need to learn video. It is a fun and exciting avenue to market your products, messages or services.
Interesting how people see somethings the same
Thank you for your kind comment and observations, Warner.
The reward of teaching is being able to watch their students mature into teachers on their own right.
May you find continued growth, happiness and prosperity in 2009 and beyond.
