I automate all my social posting so I can make one post and have it go to 16 social networks. The way I do this creates original content out of interesting things I find online. If you clip a lot of content and resources in your niche this will help you be seen as an authority in your niche.
The site I use is Amplify.com This site has its own socialization and is kind of a blog like site. I have in the sidebar my blog feed, facebook, linked in, and even a text link to a name capture squeeze page.
The blog I use in my account gets a link every time I add an Amplify clip. Since I clip then write the title and content it becomes original content.
I wanted you to know about this site as a tool you can use to promote your site. Since one of the sites Amplify sends directly to is Ping.fm and friendfeed a person could set up as many as 50 social sites every post would forward to.
Each post is tied into my bitly account and Amplify also tracks traffic. I see Amplify as a referring site in my blog and have searched the titles of posts and seen some posts page one in literally less than a minute. Amplfy clips content well. The video is there, the affiliate links work too.
