Finding Niches To Market To, Keyword Research

To find a good niche the basic idea is get into a market that you can win in. One you can get page one in search engines for. It is best you have some knowledge in the niche area too, and apply good business sence in presenting your site, to be successful too.

An important way to find your place in a niche is keyword research. You want to find keywords which have decent search volume but not so many websites optimized for that keyword that you will be lost on page 40 of the search. Typically I look for niches where i can find a whole set of keywords I can use in articles, pages and posts.

The 2 tools I have found most usefull are Micro Niche Finder and Nichebot

Micro Niche Finder is fast and gets the main information needed, qty of searches, qty of inurl, intitle, inanchor site that are competing. It also does a good job of turning up a list of realated keywords.

Nichbot is the best deal around. Your monthly free is low and it access wordtracker, google and wordtrend. Both wordtracker and wordtrend are pretty expensive, nichebot has a credits system so you wind up only paying for the premium searches as and when you need them. You also get LSI and Adwords searching. Nichebot is a very serious professional keyword tool and generates so many different searches and reports you really need to watch the introduction videos to get the most out of your membership.
