New Free Niche Digging Tools

by warner · 4 comments

Ask.com has a new beta tab called Q&A that shows results from your keyword or phrase search from Answer sites.

The questions people are asking in your niche tell you what they want and need.  Notice the recurring similar questions.  I am wondering if this could be more accurate than polls because someone went online, found a site, and asked a question. Polls are good but the questions asked may not speak to the real need and people can be affected by who is asking, how they ask, when and where they are asking.

Just found this great niche research site Niche Watch

It gives you keyword or phrase results on you and your competition for all these important search engine ranking factors:

Backlinks to the domain in Yahoo.
Backlinks to the webpage in Yahoo.
Pages Rank of domain.
Pages Rank of webpage.
Keyword/Keyphrase occurrences on webpage.
Pages indexed of domain in Yahoo.
All in Anchor Rank of domain in Google.
All in Title Rank of domain in Google.
All in Text Rank of domain in Google.

Recently I ran a term and when I saw my main competition only had 13 inanchor links I knew I would over run his position, and did.

You can applaud now, then comment, thank you, Hi Mom!

I live in a very competitive market, so this tool will show me how to get over that hump. A couple of my keywords are starting to rank well, but I need all of my combinations to kick butt. Thanks for the link.
