You might be surprised how easy it is to upload a Kindle book. My first one took about 40 minutes including making the account and figuring out what they want. I did have the doc file and the e book cover already though. All you need is a word doc saved as an html file and zipped. I recommend you read through the forum to see people's experience and suggestions. Some people do rather well but not all. Novels seem the most popular and the ebook business is currently doubling each year in sales volume. With newer and faster Kindles, iPads, Sony and other readers that business will only grow. Amazon pays 70% and sends cash to your bank, and no I am yet to sell any, though it is just a little over a week with 6 Kindle products. The other formats can be gotten into also.
Personally I figure with the huge traffic volume of 230 million in July 2010 someone will find and like one of my Kindle books. I have been bookmarking the pages and listing the links a few places. Maybe over time I can build up to 175 books like this one guy I read comments in the forum, he seems to be making some ok money there.
