Blog Commenting Traffic Trick

It’s late so here is a quickie tip, short and sweet.

When commenting blogs don’t just leave the same home page link all the time. Leave your blog’s pages and individual posts. Leaving individual posts is especially good if you use a post related to the topic you are commenting.

More PLR ReWriting

I find a lot of PLR, while well written, is full of fluff words. Too many adjectives. I guess when they need to write a certain amount of words all the time they often get used to writing that way. It reminds me of the magazines that you read while in a waiting room.

That lacks punch. Sentences need to get people reading and keep them reading. I have stuff I want to say. So when I re-write I cut them down and work on it to be more concise.

When it is for an article you want the person enthused enough at the end of the article to want to check out your web page. Draw the person’s interest then fill them in that more can be discovered at the web page.

Some PLR has been so widely distributed and used by so many people there is no way it will work for an article submission unless more than half of it is completely re-written and a completely new title.

Biggest internet Marketing Myths

Number one by far and constantly said “quick and easy” Building a business takes time, effort, knowledge, and determination. Some people get lucky in lots of things but if we could depend on luck we could just bet on a horse race whenever we need money.

Another big myth; ” work for just a few hours a week…” People who have busted their buts and worked many hours over years can work for just a few hours a week but often they are not the type of people to do that in the first place or they would have never gotten where they are.

Leave us not forget “Anyone can do this”. Truth is most people who try Internet Marketing fail, any many would never try. I will leave the why of all that to another post because there are many reasons for this. Read more »

How To Guarantee Your Product’s Success Before You Even Start!

How To Guarantee Your Product’s Success Before You Even Start!
Copyright 2007 by Willie Crawford

Today, I’d like to teach you an easy method of researching
a product or project idea BEFORE you invest a lot of time
and other resources in it.

Over the past 11 years I’ve been shown over 100 products
that “seemed like a great idea,” but when they were offered
to the market, the customers weren’t interested. In a few
cases the “marketing” was just bad, but in more cases,
the product was simply something that the market didn’t
want.

There are, of course, more research tools available than
you could ever learn to use. So, today, I’m actually going
to focus your attention on just two… and they’ll both
be free.

Why Joint Venture Partners Don’t Promote Your Product

Why Joint Venture Partners Don’t Promote Your Product
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford

You spend months creating a product, designing a
website, and having copy written and tested. You spend
countless hours schmoozing joint venture partners. Then
your launch day comes, you “push the button” and…

The silence from lack of orders is deafening.

What went wrong?

Where are all those customers that you knew your 300 joint
venture partners would send you?

Chances are, 95% of those joint ventures partners didn’t
promote, or didn’t promote to the extent that you
anticipated.

Let’s look briefly at why the sad sequence of events
described above happens all too often. Here are four
common reasons:

Protecting Your Information Products

There are a lot of people with thousands of dollars of information products sitting on their hard drives that they got free. This did not happen because they were super clever hackers or because they do a lot of file sharing. They find these products simply through search.

How can that be? Are the search engines evil? Is there some plot? No. A lot of people put their products right in a folder called downloads. Believe it or not www.yoursite.com/downloads is not difficult to find.

The first thing you need to do is make a folder on your server with a name that you could also use as a password and keep your information products in there.

If you want to take it to a higher level you may want to get DLGuard. It works with many payment and affiliate programs. Once you set it up it is fast and easy to use. You can set is so your customer has 1-2 hours to download and can only try 3 times with the special link he got when he bought.

I hope you give DLGuard a look and start protecting your information products before they are all over some hacker forums for free.

A Good Free Way To Learn Internet Marketing

joynotbeingsold.jpg
Go to The Internet Marketing News Watch and sign up on their email list. You will get a daily email listing their latest additions. Blog posts, product releases, conferences (online and offline).

How To Get The Most From This

The best things about these daily notices is

  • Watch what marketers do and how they do it, study the strategies they are using and see if you can get a picture of how they operate their marketing plan.
  • Check out their latest blog posts. There is a lot of free information given out daily in these blogs.
  • Get a good picture of the trends and new product releases.

There are trends in Internet Marketing business just like any industry. Sometimes it can be good to release a new product with your twist on a popular trend and sometimes you can get mileage by seeing a niche area has little focus in products and talk so you can jump in a less competitive area.

One problem I think people have is buying something they are not really ready to fully implement. It may be a great idea, well presented, but you have to ask yourself if you really have the time and are prepared to put it in action. It is no fun to feel frustrated because you are spinning your wheeels in too many directions and not getting enough real productive work done. Believe me I have do that and so have almost all marketers in some stage of their carreer.

In some upcoming posts I will present a series on making and doing marketing plans, it is more important to have a good plan to make it happen than anything.

How Will The Social Web Change Marketing?

TRANSPARENCY

Marketers and companies who get involved in the social web will become transparent. Their profiles, interests, and activities as well as who they associate with will become an open book. Customers may begin expect to see this. As a customer I can find out a lot more about anyone I may want to buy from. Some companies with a lot of employees could have problems if misrepresented by employees so will need to oversee some of this.

NEW WAYS TO BUILD BUSINESS

By being out there and around in web 2.0 social places people with shared interests will find you. They will pick up on and relate to your communications. It may be as simple as they went to school in the city you live in or they see something you wrote and want to learn more.

Business principals always apply but I wonder how much sales could come from people finding you instead of advertising.
