Hi Thanks for dropping back by

A very good way to get traffic that is targeted to your blog niche is commenting blogs like yours. Like most things there are better and worse ways to get the job done.

This is my blog commenting method:

My firs essential tool is have Google Alerts set to send me alerts of new posts on keywords in my subject area. I use Google Alerts over some of the other software that to searches new blog posts. I like being able to see the title , a snip of the post, and the author.

My objective is to join in a conversation on blogs and reach the author and their readers. I ignore PR and follow because I want to become involved in the conversation that interests me. This is what leads to more accurate targeting to readers and bloggers most likely to be interested in my blog.

Google sends alerts as soon as they index it so I can often the first commenter. This means almost every reader of that post will see my comment. A thoughtful comment will bring some of these readers to visit your blog.

Content is the King Maker.

Leaving a comment that directly discusses the topic and adds to the conversation is the only option. Leaving a quick mindless blast a waste of time. Quality not quantity wins the day.

One key trick is, when you put in your link in the beginning of the comment form is to use different links. Different links will build backlinks deep throughout your blog and improve your search position. I also at times use a link to a post where I have an in context affiliate link too. Targeting by leaving a link to a post you have done that is similar to the one you are commenting is good if you have one on hand.
