How To Get The Most Out Of PLR - Private Label Rights
May 19th, 2008 WritingTags: Internet Marketing, niche, personal expression, private label, Willie Crawford
Lately, for a couple niche blogs I also write, I have been using a lot of PLR. This saves a lot of time, of course, but there are a few other things I find good.
For blog posts and articles PLR gives me ideas and slants on topics I probably never would have thought of.
Once I have some good PLR I re-write it always; paraphrasing and using slightly different terms, moving paragraphs, adding or deleting parts. This way I avoid any duplicate content penalty and, more important, I express in my voice.
For any blog to be good the author has to express themselves in their own voice. Good blogs have personal expression.
Some PLR has good research and information in it so it saves me from having to do all that. Since it takes a lot of content to get search engine recognition this is a good way to go.
I don’t use PLR on this blog though recently I did post some very good articles by Willie Crawford from The Internet Marketing Inner Circle, giving him full credit as the author of course. It was good information my I hope readers found useful.

Low Hanging Fruit Ripe For Picking
May 19th, 2008 recomendedTags: big fat giveaway, e books, internet marketing tools, liz tomey, low hanging fruit, marketers, scripts
In case you like lots of Internet Marketing tools, scripts, and e-books at no cost to you I wanted to remind you the Big Fat Giveaway 2 is open now.
You can slide over on this link and grab whatever ever you like.
Personally I will use a separate email address just for this
because that way I can watch what other marketers are doing and
learn from them.
Think about which emails grab your attention and why. As you
understand this you will begin selling better.
There is a new site being developed that will provide Internet
Marketing e-books at no cost on an ongoing basis.
There is a short question to answer on the first page, if you like.
Notice here what is being done, they are asking people what they
want. Whenever you can find out exactly what people want and
provide it you are using real win-win marketing.
If I provide a useful product or service and you benefit from it
this is good for everyone. There is really no reason business ever
needs to be done any other way
There are about 15 Marketing E-books there now and more coming. All
are reviewed at least briefly and many are from well known
successful marketers like Yanik Silver, Liz Tomey, and Jimmy D Brown.

Biggest internet Marketing Myths
May 15th, 2008 Internet MarketingTags: good marketing, Internet Marketing, marketing plan, myth, niches, scientific advertising
Number one by far and constantly said “quick and easy” Building a business takes time, effort, knowledge, and determination. Some people get lucky in lots of things but if we could depend on luck we could just bet on a horse race whenever we need money.
Another big myth; ” work for just a few hours a week…” People who have busted their buts and worked many hours over years can work for just a few hours a week but often they are not the type of people to do that in the first place or they would have never gotten where they are.
Leave us not forget “Anyone can do this”. Truth is most people who try Internet Marketing fail, any many would never try. I will leave the why of all that to another post because there are many reasons for this. Read more »

How To Guarantee Your Product’s Success Before You Even Start!

Today, I’d like to teach you an easy method of researching
a product or project idea BEFORE you invest a lot of time
and other resources in it.
Over the past 11 years I’ve been shown over 100 products
that “seemed like a great idea,” but when they were offered
to the market, the customers weren’t interested. In a few
cases the “marketing” was just bad, but in more cases,
the product was simply something that the market didn’t
want.
There are, of course, more research tools available than
you could ever learn to use. So, today, I’m actually going
to focus your attention on just two… and they’ll both
be free.

Why Joint Venture Partners Don’t Promote Your Product
Copyright 2008 by Willie Crawford
You spend months creating a product, designing a
website, and having copy written and tested. You spend
countless hours schmoozing joint venture partners. Then
your launch day comes, you “push the button” and…
The silence from lack of orders is deafening.
What went wrong?
Where are all those customers that you knew your 300 joint
venture partners would send you?
Chances are, 95% of those joint ventures partners didn’t
promote, or didn’t promote to the extent that you
anticipated.
Let’s look briefly at why the sad sequence of events
described above happens all too often. Here are four
common reasons:

Google Friend Connect Is Almost Upon Us
May 12th, 2008 GooglebotTags: facebook, hooks, monday morning, myspace, new friends, social features, social marketing, social profiles, www google com
Here it comes. soon, very soon. A big new initiative by Google to make various social profiles interconnected and to make it so anyone “can add a snippet of code to his or her site and get social features up and running immediately without programming”
Just read about this in depth at City Social Marketing Blog
David Glazer, director of engineering at Google, described Friend Connect, whose site is inaccessible Monday morning, as plumbing for the rest of the Web.
“The Web is getting better by getting more social. We’ve baked social features into the infrastructure of the Web, and it is not tied to any particular site,” Glazer said. “Users can interact with any of their friends anywhere they go on Web, and with any app.”
According to Dan Farber, of CNET News:
Google will join Facebook and MySpace, which launched ways to port user data to partner sites this week. Facebook Connect will provide the hooks to let users port their friends, profile photos, events, and other data across the Web to partner sites. MySpace on Thursday announced Data Availability, with Yahoo, eBay, Photobucket, and Twitter as initial partners for its effort to let members port their data.
Google also said:
Visitors to websites which use Friend Connect will have the ability to “see, invite, and interact with new friends, or, using secure authorization APIs, with existing friends from social sites on the web, including Facebook, Google Talk, hi5, orkut, Plaxo, and more”.
Exactly what it will be is going to happen only hours from now at http://www.google.com/friendconnect , as of this writing that link is 404

Twitter Tales Getting More Out Of Twitter
May 9th, 2008 TwitterTags: blog, caroline middlebrook, jennifer laycock, lisa hoffman, marketing, mashup, search engine guide, twits, Twitter
Today I came across 3 posts about using twitter better.
The first really caught my eye because it was about not chewing up too much time on twitter. Twitter is blogging crack and with the constant supply of interesting information can become a black hole to time and productivity.
How to Twitter Your Business Without Twittering Away Your Time by Lisa Hoffman at the PRStore blog
In this post Lisa mentions Caroline Middlebrook’s “Big Juicy Twitter Guide” Which is a comprehensive 7 part guide to everything about how Twitter works, including tools and hacks.
In addition Jennifer Laycock at the Search Engine Guide offers a multipart guide that goes more into marketing and business building. From Twits to Tweeple, Why I Embraced Twitter and You Should Too
In understanding Twitter this well, how it works, how to apply it, you can adapt to your own situation, or who knows, develop the next Twitter Mashup. If you do please comment me about that.

How to get good free copywriting advise from professionals
May 8th, 2008 CopywritingTags: Copywriting, niche markets, professional s, profitable niche, warrior forum
I just accidentally figured this out
1) Write some copy for anything you want to sell.
2) Post it for review on copywriter’s board forum, warrior forum copywriting section, and jothers.
(if you find more forums with copywriting sections, please post a comment here.)
Take comments with a “grain of salt” and don’t worry if some advise completely counterdicts the others. Some are excellent and from professional copywriters. You will be learning and thinking in context of action, which is the best way to learn anything
By the way here is a good free tool for making a sales page, you have to download the page and rename it and maybe do some editing but it makes a pretty good sales page in minutes.
Thanks to Mary Green’s, DailyIMTools for telling me about this http://www.internetmarketingcourse.com/freesalesgenerator/
here is an example of a sales page I made with this tool in about 20 minutes, including editing a little in dreamweaver and uploading the page.
Finding Profitable Niche Markets
Which is kind of a neat trick to get some stuff to sell online then refine.
Hey that rhymes, my new theme ” put it online then refine”. Because it is better to do stuff, as best as you can, but do stuff. You will always be leaning. Thank God for that, it keeps life interesting.
